On Mortal Kombat story mode you can only play as two characters Liu kang and Kung lao. but on versus you can play as Katana,Baraka,scorpion,cage,reptile,Liu Kang,Kung lao,Sub-zero and smoke but you have to unlock them you start with Kung lao and Liu kang. their are many easy and hard secrets to get you can unlock characters any other great stuff by getting secrets and collecting red coins when you collect red coins something will get unlocked like:concept art new characters fatality input image arena art and arena’s. when you collect a coin a red box at the bottom of the screen will appear and it will tell you what you have unlocked.
the game is brill these are the good and bad things.
Bad 
1. Sometimes the odd glitch with the test your might might happen like when you pull on a lever the character is pulling on thin air.
2.on death match (map:the pit if you uppercut the character into spikes then a glitch will happen and he will bounce a couple of times and loose health.
good 
1.there are three fatality like things: 1.fatalitie. chop slice batter and boom baddies to death to sucseed further. :)
2.multality.smack in a combo and watch enemies desintigrate and get lots of health from the enemies and extra.
3.brutality. 
slap in a special code and control your character to chop and batter baddies they each have speical combo

fatalitie 4: up,up,up,down,square

i love mortal kombat but i well have fatalities to sub-zero
please help i have smoke all qeusts completed i can not find MK2 where is it
It depends on what version you got if it is the US version then it should be there if you have the UK version then you can’t get it I tryed too
People say it is a glitch
dude one time in the foundry in the room with the lava rocks and lava everywhere i went to do my inferno spin with scorpio and when it finished i ended up inside the ground and could not atack i could only float under the ground with my haed poking out of the ground and if i ran i would get out but go back underground
i could jump out to but end up in the ground again
i could also do fatalaties but i would end up in the ground
the only way to get out of the ground was to either die or leave the area

hey what stage in the game u can do multalities cause i like kung lao tornado multality.
i reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyy need help unlocking katana!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can anyone tell me how and were to unlock her
on the level on which you have to do a multality,on the right you will see a half broken pillar and jump on it and jump on the roof and see the red koin and take it.you will see that in vs mode kitana has been unlocked.
and i also need to know if katana has a brutality cause my cuzin is playing her on story mode

To unlock Kitana:
In the MK2 arena level (right before the portal with the two statues in front of it) in the evil monastery, you will see many pillars. Jump on one of them which is half broken and then double jump onto the roof. You will find the secret there.

When i try to do a brutality action and the sequence is Brutality 1: RIGHT, UP, DOWN, DOWN, POWER Which one is the power button???? I can do right, up, down, down, but when it comes to which one is that i’ve try all of them….
its a good game but they should of edited the lines such as the “liu kang behind you” statement but i am sub-zero??
Also they should make a sencond one too

how do u do brutalities and mutalities
if you go to the area where you get your brutality coin, jump on the pillar that’s broken and make sure you have double jump you don’t need it but it’s usefull, and jump on the platform to the left and go all the way to the back of the platform and there’s katana’s coin.
